More than a thousand people attended the European Industry and Energy Congress Industry in Transition in Katowice. So the beginning of June at the International Congress Center was full of important discussions, fruitful meetings and bold declarations of cooperation. All this to ensure that the Polish economy will make the transition to the industry of the future as quickly and easily as possible.
The transformation of energy, transport and renewable energy sources were the most important topics discussed during the second day of the European Industry and Energy Congress Industry in Transition in Katowice. During the meeting of economic, political and scientific circles, recipes were sought for the most important problems of the modern economy.
Bringing together different industrial sectors will help meet today's challenges and survive unexpected crises, participants of the European Industry and Energy Congress Industry in Transition, which began today, said in Katowice. Tomorrow is the second day of INTO, which is a platform for exchanging knowledge and views, but also a place for jointly seeking solutions to the most important problems of the modern economy.
Europe's energy and digital sovereignty, the effects of the ecological transition, the prospects for green hydrogen, the development of artificial intelligence and nuclear energy in Poland will be the main topics of the European Industry and Energy Congress Industry in Transition. On June 3 and 4, leading representatives of the Polish government, EU institutions and small and medium-sized enterprises will meet at the International Congress Center.
The two day congress will be held at the International Congress Center in Katowice, 3rd to 4th June this year, it is a new event in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s calendar. Its objective is to create a platform for the exchange of knowledge, experiences and demands, thanks to which Polish and European decision-makers will have the opportunity to discuss in a broad and representative group the directions and principles of transformation of the European industrial and energy sector.
Energy transition as an opportunity for Polish industry, taking responsibility for achieving the goals of sustainable development and a closed-loop economy, the role of achieving autonomy in critical raw materials in Poland and Europe, and the need to verify “hard” dates for achieving emission reductions and climate neutrality – were discussed during the “Industry in Transition” conference, organized by the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Katowice. The event – under the patronage of the Ministry of Industry – took place on April 15 at the International Congress Center in Katowice.
The issues of industry and energy transition towards achieving a 90% reduction in emissions by 2040 and achieving climate neutrality by 2050, as well as the challenges arising from the European Commission’s proposed actions, will be the subject of the “Industry in Transition” conference, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice. The event – under the patronage of the Ministry of Industry – will take place on April 15 at the International Congress Center in Katowice.
