She has been working in the self-governmental administration of the Silesian Voivodeship since 1999. She has been developing her competences in the field of regional policy and its financing instruments, especially in the framework of the European Union’s cohesion policy since the beginning of her professional career. She participated in the implementation of pre-accession projects, and since 2004, when Poland became a full member of the EU, she has been involved in programming EU support for the region.  In the current EU financial perspective, she is involved in the development and implementation of the Territorial Just Transition Plan for the Silesian Voivodeship 2030 and the largest regional programme in Poland - European Funds for Silesia (EUR 5.2 billion), which is co-financed by the Just Transition Fund (EUR 2.2 billion).
