Lecturer at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies, University of Warsaw

Doctor of Humanities, graduate of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science at the University of Warsaw, Police Academy in Szczytno, retired Polish police inspector. In the past, he was a spokesman for the Polish Police for many years. Currently an assistant professor at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw and a partner in a public relations agency - Prostrategic Communication, specializing in media relations, crisis communication and public affairs.

In 2001, he received a doctoral degree in history from the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn based on a dissertation entitled Policja a społeczeństwo w okresie międzywojennym. Until 2003, he was a research and teaching staff member at the Police Academy in Szczytno, while until 2013 he was an assistant professor at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. Until 2016, a lecturer at Wszechnica Polska - Warsaw University. Since 2013, a research and teaching employee at the University of Warsaw. First, he was an assistant professor at the Institute of Political Science of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science, University of Warsaw, and then - from 2016 until today - he is an assistant professor at the Department of Security Studies at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies.

From 2004 to 2007, he was spokesman for the Capital Police Commander and then, until August 2015, spokesman for the Police Commander in Chief. During his 12 years of service in these positions, he managed “Media” operations in the Polish Police during major events in the country, such as: European Economic Summit in 2004, Council of Europe Summit in 2005, EURO 2012 Football World Cup, and Men's Volleyball World Championship 2014. He is the winner of the prestigious award in the first edition of the “PRotons” competition in the “Rzecznik Prasowy” category. In 2012, he was honored with the “Lew PR” award, which is given by the Polish Public Relations Association to individuals with outstanding professional achievements who demonstrate an innovative approach to work and care about the highest level of professional ethics. In 2010, he was nominated “for competently and consistently building a positive image of the Police in a country where the uniform is still very badly associated, and for his activity in the media and accessibility to journalists,” to the top three in the prestigious “Człowiek Briefu 2010” competition in the “Człowiek PR-u Briefu 2010” category.

Over the years, he has been involved in activities to improve and promote safety, initiating and conducting numerous actions and prevention programs involving all age groups: children, teenagers, adults and seniors.

The social campaigns he co-organized and supported could be counted in the hundreds. Among them are: “Stop 18,” “Bezpieczna droga z radami Sponge Boba,” “Piłeś? Nie jedź!", “Mistrzowie w pasach”, “Nie [przy]dzwoń za kierownicą”. In 2010, he was the originator and organizer of the police campaign “Use your imagination”, aimed at improving road safety. The campaign was awarded the prestigious “Effie Awards 2010”, which is awarded as part of one of the world's most important marketing competitions.

He has worked and continues to work with academia, the judiciary, as well as with organizations, including “Niebieska Linia,” “Itaka,” “WOŚP” and “La Strada” - his mission was to activate all those for whom the safety of citizens is important.
